After cataract surgery; treatment costs of complications such as bleeding, eye perforation (perforation), rupture of the lens capsule, loss of transparency of the cornea, burns, infection, retinal detachment, yellow spot edema, painful eye, eye pressure disease (glaucoma), double vision are covered.
After ptosis surgery; in case of complications such as recurrence of droopy eyelid, additional treatment costs are covered by the insurance.

This policy is only valid for treatments, surgeries, or procedures performed within Turkey, covering complications treated at the same healthcare institution.

If the “Home Country Treatment Coverage” is added to the policy, the insured can also benefit from coverage in their home country.
When Does Health Tourism Complication Insurance Begin and End?
The insurance is valid for 180 days from the policy start date. It covers complications from treatments performed within this period. Only the “Dental Implant Plan” is valid for 365 days.
Can Health Tourism Complication Insurance Be Used Immediately?
Yes, the policy can be used immediately for complications resulting from surgeries or procedures performed after the policy start date.
Can the Policy Duration Be Extended?
No, the policy duration cannot be extended, except for the dental implant plan.
How is the Premium for Health Tourism Complication Insurance Calculated?
Premiums do not vary by age or gender. They are based on the selected plan and additional coverages.
Can You Switch Between Plans?
No, switching between plans is not allowed. If a different treatment is needed, the current plan must be canceled, and a new plan must be purchased.
